Self-guided Group Booking Terms and Conditions
Payment
a. All Self-guided Group Booking purchases must be made on Humanitix via credit card. We do not offer invoices.
b. Additional tickets can be added to your original booking up until the day before the event date. All attendees must be prepaid.
Cancellation or postponement - by Client request
a. You may cancel your booking and/or additional tickets for any reason 7 days in advance of the original session date, in exchange for a full refund minus booking fees.
b. To action a self-service refund or cancellation, use the Manage Order button on your order confirmation email.
c. You may request a postponement for any reason up to 7 days in advance of your session. Alternative dates subject to availability.
d. The Client may request a postponement up to 72 hours in advance of a session (without penalty) if the daily maximum temperature is forecast to meet or exceed 35°C. Alternative dates subject to availability.
e. Inclement weather is not considered a reasonable grounds for cancellation or rescheduling. No refund will be given.
Cancellation or postponement - by request of Collingwood Children’s Farm
a. In the event of adverse weather, staffing, resourcing and safety issues or other unforeseen events, Collingwood Children’s Farm reserves the right to postpone or cancel a Self-Guided Group Booking up to 24 hours in advance.
b. If we have to make a last-minute cancellation, the Client receives a full refund, minus booking fees, or will be given the opportunity to reschedule, subject to availability.
Our expectations of Self-guided Groups
a. All supervising adults must be made aware of these terms and conditions.
b. All supervising adults must familiarise themselves with the Information Pack (link in confirmation email) as it contains important logistical information.
c. We are a working farm. All attending children are the responsibility of the client and all visits must be staffed accordingly. All children must be adequately supervised at all times.
d. We are an outdoor venue; please plan your visit accordingly and ensure students wear weather-appropriate clothing, including gumboots, raincoats, hats and sunscreen.
e. Large groups must divide into smaller groups of no more than 10 children while exploring the Farm to avoid impact
f. Supervising adults must ensure that children:
Dispose of all rubbish appropriately
Stick to the paths to prevent damage to gardens
Don’t pick anything that is growing
Don’t feed any of the animals
Treat the animals with respect
Leave all spaces as they were found
