Please Note: There will be NO pony ride sessions on Family Days in August and September when the horses have a break.

Sunday 21 July, 10.00am - 12 noon

Collaborative tree planting day between the Collingwood Children’s Farm and Merri Creek Management Committee.

Come and join Rachel and Synti, two of our gardeners, care for our riverbank. Plant indigenous plants  to provide homes for native animals, improve the quality of the river water and make the place beautiful.

Meet at the Farm's reception entry gate. Admission to the Farm afterwards is free. Tools, plants and gloves provided. Please note that the site is steep in some parts and has unfenced river access.                                                                   Join us to help care for this special part of the river.

Welcome to the Collingwood Children's Farm

Collingwood Children’s Farm is 5km from the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. We aim to bring city folk closer to land, animals, farm life and community. The Farm exists to support people in the Victorian community who are experiencing disadvantage, supporting social inclusion by delivering a range of programs from a rustic community working Farm.

Come for a leisurely stroll or a picnic in the paddock and watch the Farm community at work. Your entry fees support the Farm to look after our animals and run community programs.

Please note: At busy times, for our animal’s welfare, access to paddocks may be closed to visitors. On days where the temperature reaches ABOVE 35 degrees, the paddocks will not be open and we will not be running activities. In cases of extreme weather, the Farm may close early.

Our opening times are: 9.15am - 4.45pm.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome!
