WE’RE TURNING THE BIG 4-0 WITH PARTY ANIMALS ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD
A day and night celebration guaranteed to excite each and every beast!
All profits from this one day extravaganza will be going back into the farm to help us sustain for another 40 years, and beyond.
Get the gang and family together, and come celebrate with us and this incredible line up!
Listen & dance
Kick back in the farm’s paddocks to the sounds of Australian punk institution Cosmic Psychos, Indigenous artist Emma Donovan and her band The Putbacks, Jess Ribero , Saint Jude , sizzling BBQ-punk-rockers The Burnt Sausages, The Orbweavers, The Ookerpookers (featuring Liam Gerner and his ukulele orchestra of Thornbury school students), Cold Gold, Amadou Jaly Suso, all-girl rap squad LSG (Lit Savage Girls) and school pals and neighbours Drip Squad from RYMS All Stars and the Farm Hand Bush Band, who will be premiering their new song dedicated to Collingwood Children’s Farm. And to keep everything running nice and smooth, Costa Georgiadis from ABC’s Gardening Australia will be the lively MC across the event.
Eat & drink
Don’t miss Meatsmith stoking the coals on a BBQ that will take the humble Sunday sizzle to a whole new level! Pack a picnic basket and create your own antipasto feast from Melbourne Farmer’s Market local growers and producers like City Larder, Nicolas Olive Estate, and Northcote Bakehouse. To wash it all down Bodriggy Brewing Co and Mountain Goat will have the brews on ice all day and night, Innocent Bystander wines will please the connoisseurs among us and Melbourne Gin Co will be shaking and stirring things up with their delectable drop featuring local Australian botanicals!
Watch & learn
Join in on one of the Table Talks which include masterclasses on fermentation, bee keeping with Barry The Bee Keeper, the art and skill of butchery with Troy Wheeler from Meatsmith and Broomfields Pies for a pie making workshop using biodynamic ingredients for some of the most delicious pies you’ll ever taste! Across the paddock party-comers can hone new skills at one of the many workshops on offer including ukulele lessons and a heap of craft and sustainable activities for the home. There’ll be storytelling from award winning authors, prizes, heaps of activities, animal pats all day, a surprise or two and more fun than you can fit into the back of a tractor.
