About the Farm
Established in 1979 the Collingwood Children's Farm is a not-for-profit community resource providing country experiences for city people.
Education is central to the work carried out the Farm. Everyday hundreds of people get involved with our activities and programs, and so can you!
Individuals, School and Community Groups are all Welcome!
Without the animals, gardens and native revegetation the Farm would not be the place it is today. They are the building blocks for all the amazing work that happens at the Farm

The Collingwood Children’s Farm community is an expansive community built by thousands of interactions, experiences and Farm visits over the past four decades. All those who have visited have a different story to tell, and many have different reasons for visiting.
The Farm has a voluntary Committee of Management which provides strategic direction and oversees the Farm’s management.
Do you have a skill we could put to good use? Help us build a strong future!
Collingwood Children’s Farm does not receive any large, ongoing funding from any government, council or other organisations. We are largely self-funded, and thanks to the support of our community we can continue the great work that happens here!
Collingwood Children’s Farm is the oldest continually farmed piece of land in Victoria. From the Farm today, the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in 1865, and beyond for 40,000+ years, this land has a rich history.
